“ Always good & hot! Always delicious! Fast service attending to any of your needs! Love all the staff making sure your Always good! Love the slaw! ”
“ Was looking everywhere that sell whole fried catfish and Moss Creek have them. Simple menu of catfish, shrimp, there are burgers if you want that too. Option of all you can eat platter, unless you are a NFL player there is no way you need the all you can eat option. I saw so many leftovers from other tables . Service is quick. Everything is fresh. Cooking oil they use doesnt seems to be old because food is golden color instead of dark brown and burnt like fast food places. Catfish need more seasoning. Might be kinda bland but they do provide a bottle of tartar sauce for you. Also they have "come back" sauce for other items to dip in. I love hush puppies and I like theirs. Crunchy on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside. They use sweet cornbread which I like . Sides are pretty standard. Good place to eat overall. ”
“ I've been craving for AYCE whole catfish that's not buffet style, but freshly fried to order. Only a small handful of places that does this, we've never here so decided to try. We both got the AYCE catfish, you can choose between filet or whole (doesn't include grilled), and they had several sides that you can choose from, that's also ayce. He got the filets, I got the whole. They brought out half a platter of filets, and 3 whole catfish! It was piping hot, but not greasy at all. I love cornmeal breading, it's light, but crunchy, the fish were nicely seasoned, and meaty, it hit the spot! These filets were very comparable to Mama Hamils strips when they used to do strips, the last time we were there, they were more like nuggets. Super white catfish, lightly battered, crispy, and fluffy on the outside, so good! My whole fish was fried hard, but the inside still moist and flaky. Service was good also. Next time I'll probably ask for 1 or 2 whole catfish sent at a time instead of all 3. Once I made it to my 3rd filet it wasn't piping hot anymore. I love my food on the verge of burning my mouth Included menu in the comments for yall. ”
“ Great food. Really liked the fish. It was fried and seasoned to perfection. I went with healthier sides - tried to offset my love for fried foods with some healthier sides lol. The side salad was great. The side sweet potato was a little over baked. Considering nobody - myself included, typically - orders a sweet potato with fried fish, I'm pretty sure I was the only customer that ordered sweet potato the whole day which meant I got the one that was baking since lunch lol. ”
“ Moss Creek Fish House is a great place to head if you are in the mood for some fried seafood and you are anywhere around either Jackson, Mississippi or Pearl, Mississippi. Really anywhere around the area. I had catfish and oysters and it was definitely a good meal and for what it was, I feel that it was competitively priced. I had a client recommend the catfish here and it definitely did not disappoint. Service was good and while there was nothing fancy about this restaurant, it kind of captured the Mississippi fried seafood restaurant vibe. A casual but pleasant experience. Again, the food was good, as was the service and the ambiance just added to the overall experience. All in all, I will give Moss Creek Fish House an overall score of four stars. I woukd definitely recommend here. ”
